Last updated 25 September 2026. ITjustworks runs Masjid Timetable. This page says what the app and this site do with information, in the order somebody would actually ask.
There is no account, no sign-in and no profile. You are not identified to us and we cannot tell one phone from another.
Your chosen masjid, a second one if you set it, how you like times and dates written, which reminders you want, where the Qibla is measured from, and the timetables and notices for those two masjids. All of it is stored on the device and in its backups. None of it is sent to us, and deleting the app deletes all of it.
Reminders are worked out and scheduled on the phone, from the timetable it already holds. Nothing about them reaches us, including whether you have any.
The app asks the phone for your position in two places, and only when you ask it to. If you tap Find Masjids Near Me, it asks once and uses the answer to sort the list. If you choose Where I Am on the Qibla screen, it asks each time that screen opens and uses the answer to work out the direction of the Qibla from where you are standing.
Either way your position is used on the phone and nowhere else. It is not stored, not remembered between launches, and never sent anywhere. The Qibla screen remembers that you chose Where I Am, not where you were. The app is fully usable without ever granting location, and it never asks for it in the background.
The app asks this server which masjids exist, and for the timetables and notices of the masjids you chose. Like any server, ours receives the request: the masjid being asked about, and the network address it came from. We use that to serve the request and to keep the service working. We do not build a profile from it, we do not combine it with anything else, and there is no identifier in it that belongs to you.
No advertising. No analytics. No tracking of individuals. No third party software development kits in the app. Nothing is sold or shared with anybody for their own purposes.
The contact form keeps your name, your email address, the subject you picked and your message, so that somebody can answer you. That is the only reason it is kept, and it is not used for anything else.
To keep automated spam out, the form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare already runs this website. On the contact page only, Turnstile looks at your browser and your connection to tell a person from a program, and tells us whether it passed. We do not send it your name, your email address or your message.
Registering gives us your name, your email address, your role, optionally your phone number, and the masjid's details. We keep them so we can answer you, so you can sign in, and as the record of who asked for access to which masjid.
Signing in is a link emailed to that address; there is no password. Every change you publish is recorded with who made it and when, because a prayer time that changed is something a masjid has to be able to account for.
Two other companies handle parts of this. Emails are sent through Resend, which therefore handles the address and the message. Turning a postcode into a position sends that postcode, and nothing else, to postcodes.io. Neither is given your name.
A masjid's published times stay while the masjid is listed. A registration request stays as the record of a decision we made. Audit entries stay so a change remains accountable. Ask us to remove any of it and we will, except where keeping it is what makes an earlier decision explicable.
Write to us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
