Masjid Timetable

Terms

Last updated 4 October 2026. The agreement between you and ITjustworks Ltd for the Masjid Timetable app and this site, in plain words.

Who we are

Masjid Timetable is made and run by ITjustworks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16645618. Our registered office is 113 Romford Road, London, E15 4LY. Here, "we" and "us" means ITjustworks Ltd, and "the app" means the Masjid Timetable app.

By using the app or this site you agree to these terms. If you run a masjid's listing, the parts for masjids apply to you as well. What we do with information is on the Privacy page.

Using the app

The app is free. You may use it on any phone or tablet you own or control, for your own use. Please do not copy, sell or pass on the app, take it apart to get at its code except where the law allows you to, or use it in a way that could harm it or anybody else's use of it.

The prayer times

Times marked Published are the times a masjid has published, exactly as it set them. Times marked Calculated are worked out from the masjid's location. They tell you when each prayer's time begins, not when that masjid holds its jamā'at.

We take care to show every time faithfully, but we do not set any masjid's times and cannot promise they are free from mistakes. Where a time matters, check it with the masjid. We are not responsible for anything that follows from relying on a time shown in the app.

The list of masjids

The list is built from OpenStreetMap and from what masjids tell us. It is shared under the Open Database Licence, and the app's Credits screen says how to get a copy. A masjid being listed does not mean it has registered with us or approved what is shown about it.

If you run a masjid's listing

Register only for a masjid you are entitled to act for. A person checks every request, and we may refuse access, or withdraw it, for example when the masjid tells us you no longer act for it.

Keep the sign-in links we email you to yourself. Anything done with them is treated as done by you, and every change is recorded with who made it and when.

You are responsible for the times you publish. Publish what your masjid has decided, and correct any mistake promptly. Your times and details remain your masjid's. You allow us to show them in the app and on this site, free of charge, for as long as your masjid is listed. We do not change a time you set, except when you ask us to.

Contributions

Publishing is free. A masjid that wants to may contribute towards the app's development and hosting. We suggest £250 a year, but any amount is welcome, and so is none. A contribution is a payment to a company, not a gift to a charity, so Gift Aid does not apply. It buys nothing extra: a masjid that contributes nothing has the same app, every feature and the same place in the list. We send an invoice for whatever amount you choose.

Premium

Premium is £500 for one calendar year, January to December. With it, we set up your masjid's timetable for that year from what you send us, and make up to three changes to it during the year. A change is one request, however many times it alters, such as new jamā'at times from a given date. Beyond three, you can still change your times yourself, as every masjid can. Each calendar year is its own payment, so the next year's timetable is the next year's Premium, not this one's.

  • Send us your timetable and any changes in good time. We publish them as you send them, and you remain responsible for checking them once they are live.
  • A payment made during a year covers that year, unless you ask for it to cover the next year instead. It never covers two.
  • We invoice in advance, and payment is due within 30 days of the invoice.
  • Premium does not renew by itself. Another year of Premium starts only when you ask for it and pay for that year.
  • You may end Premium at any time by telling us. We do not refund the part of a year already paid for.
  • When Premium ends, your masjid keeps everything that is free, and its published times stay as they are.

Our part

We run the app and this site with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise they will always be available or free from faults, including when a service we rely on is down. If we ever stop offering Premium, we will refund any masjid the part of its year that is left.

Liability

We are not liable for any loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for any loss of business or income. For Premium, our total liability is limited to what the masjid paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them affects your rights as a consumer.

Who owns what

The app, this site, their design and their code belong to ITjustworks Ltd. Each masjid's times belong to that masjid. The list of masjids is shared under the Open Database Licence.

The App Store and Google Play

If you got the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to maintain or support it. Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

If you got the app from Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app, and the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Changes

We may change the app, this site and these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top of this page changes too, and we will tell any masjid with Premium about a change that affects it.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim in your own courts.

Asking

Write to us with any question about these terms.
